Like many people these days, I bought my first piece of furniture from Ikea. That $200 couch came in a huge box. What to do with that huge box was a problem for me. So I cut it up in to roughly 8.5” x 11” pieces to make The Ikea Project, a series of collages made of all the packaging from my maiden home furnishing outing. They utilize also pastel and various other scraps from concurrent projects.
